<Menz> Guild Charter
Performance • Respect • EfficiencyA serious progression guild that values preparation, consistency, and having fun together while clearing content.
1. Guild Identity
Who We Are<Menz> is a progression-focused TBC guild built on performance, respect, and efficiency. We maintain a serious raiding environment while preserving the fun and camaraderie that make the game worth playing. Every member is expected to contribute to a culture that values preparation, consistency, and teamwork.
2. Leadership Structure
Authority & RolesCo-Guild Masters
The guild is led by two Co-Guild Masters who hold absolute and equal authority. No structural, loot, or policy changes can occur without unified agreement between the Co-GMs.
Officer Roles
Officers operate at the discretion of the Co-GMs and support raid operations.
-
Roster Officer
Manages recruitment, ensures raid rosters are full, oversees sign-ups and raid composition, assigns roles within the raid, and coordinates pugs when necessary. -
Loot Officer
Manages loot distribution during raids, advises Co-GMs on high-impact or contested items, and maintains transparency and organization throughout the loot process.
3. Raiding Standards
ExpectationsPerformance
All members are expected to perform above average for their class and role. This includes optimization of gear, enchants, talents, professions, and gameplay.
Attendance
Strong attendance is required and directly influences loot decisions. Chronic unreliability or absence may result in removal from the raid team or guild.
Preparation
- Full consumables are mandatory for every raid.
- Members must arrive on time, repaired, buffed, and ready to pull.
- Members are expected to understand assigned mechanics and responsibilities.
Profession Requirement
All primary raiding characters must have Engineering. This ensures access to key utility and consumables that support the guild’s progression goals.
Progression Goals
- Weekly clears are the baseline expectation.
- First-week full clears for new content are standard.
- Light speedrunning may occur if the guild reaches consensus (never mandatory).
4. Loot System
Loot CouncilLoot is distributed through Loot Council, guided by the following principles:
- Attendance
- Performance
- Upgrade impact
- Role priority
- Guild progression needs
Loot decisions may be discussed openly to maintain transparency. The Co-GMs hold final authority on tie-breaking decisions.
5. Pug Loot Rules
When PuggingWhen pugging, <Menz> follows a clear and fair system designed to respect both guild progression and the time of the pug.
- Loot Allowance Pugs may roll on two contested items per raid.
- Spec Priority Pugs receive loot for their main-spec upgrades over guild members’ off-spec.
- Declaring Interest When an item drops, a pug may declare they want to roll on it. At that point, only guild members for whom the item is a true upgrade may roll against them. No side-grade rolls from guild members are allowed.
- If a Guild Member Wins If a guild member wins the item, it will be held by the Loot Officer and evaluated by Loot Council. The item will then be assigned at a convenient time outside the immediate loot window.
6. Conduct & Behavior
Standards<Menz> maintains a high standard of behavior. All members are expected to:
- Treat guildmates and pugs with respect.
- Avoid drama, toxicity, and passive-aggressive behavior.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward continual improvement.
- Protect raid time by staying focused and minimizing downtime.
- Represent the guild well in game and in public channels.
